It is time to feed your soul...

The best time to travel is now! Stop waiting for your friends to clear their schedules and book a flight. Traveling solo is one of the most enlightening experiences you will ever get. I understand that you may be hesitant to fly solo because the world can be a dangerous place. You just have to trust your instincts and be prepared. Be sure to do your research, try to blend in, and follow the customs of the country you are visiting.
Whenever I am feeling blue, I like to travel. This form of therapy can get a little pricy but I highly recommend it. There is something about being in a foreign country alone, that allows us to open up with ourselves and strangers. In fact, some of the most meaningful conversations I have had have been with strangers I met on tubes (underground transportation), pubs, and historical landmarks.
Post-travel depression is a thing! When you return from being abroad, you will notice that your life is not all that it seems to be. The first couple of days upon your return are going to be the most impactful. Some people quit their jobs, others change their immediate circle, and some choose to pack up and move to a different country. Regardless of what the turnout is, you are guaranteed to have an enlightening experience if you trust the world and what it has to offer.
